Canadian wild fire season has started early and started big time.
As an aside, I experienced living with the poorest of air quality last year in California. It's ghastly.

Wild fires are wreaking havoc on air quality. Looks like Canada is in for another horrific wild fire 'season'.
Smoke from these fires is now in U.S. states bordering Canada--and the smoke is moving south.

I can tell you from personal experience that living and breathing in wild fire smoke is hideous (California last year), and I don't forward to another year of living with/through that again. But, here it comes. Northwestern states are already grievously affected.

Congratulations Canada/Toronto. The Raptors are truly an amazing group of players.
But, like Dan Rather tweeted
https://twitter.com/DanRather/status/1136451588078198784
and, then, to lose another key player in the game tonight. What if? Bummer.
But, there's no denying the talent and heart of the Toronto Raptors. They, for sure, were spectacular.

They will be meeting with Trudeau. Even though trump has not invited them, it looks like a hard no anyway.

I have read many, many articles on the ravenous consumption of water nestle has committed in the U.S. and Mexico, long term and ongoing--actually impacting local communities and leaving them without drinking water. For whatever reason they pay little, or next to nothing, as in this article, where ever they go. They have been accused of outright theft of water, and have had no concern in circumstances of drought (I'm speaking specifically, about California and Mexico). Their history would appear to me as criminal--certainly morally, but they're a multi-national, so it appears to be business as usual. Everything I have read about nestle indicates to me they are among the many and most unscrupulous corporations.
It would seem to me if nestle is extracting water from tribal lands, they should be buying that recourse from tribal people. It would, also, seem to me that if there is clean water for nestle, there ought to be clean water for humans. This is a problem.
