Basically, their defense is, other than the fact that officers must make split second decisions sometimes (true enough), they didn't know about the young man's condition. How difficult could that have been to determine? Shameful.

Here's why we're all getting fat. There are approximately 4 teaspoons of sugar in one gram. That flavored yogurt you eat or give your kid may have 17 grams of sugar. That would translate into 4+ teaspoons in that pint of yogurt.
