The concern is driven by the recent actions of shop committee Chairman Floyd Straley. He recently cut four committee positions, which now means he has all the bargaining power for the local.
That leaves him in the role of the sole bargainer, representing more than 1,000 General Motors Corp. employees at seven facilities, which includes four plants. http://abclocal.go.com/wjrt/story?section=local&id=5653480 |
