Location: Hamilton Ontario 		Hi folks,
My friend and I were just at our friendly coffee shop
and I was telling him about uncharted.ca and he asked
to put an idea out to you people for your opinon and
to make a request. This guy was set up at his place
of employment and fired just two days before he was
due to have his knee operation. He followed the
greivence proceedure right to arb. He can not read or
write, he claims his lawyer was from ufcw 175, his
translater was also from ufcw 175.On May 15th 2007
he had his date with arb.He contacted me and within
half an hour I was reading the document local 175
and his employer as far as I am concerned made him
sign a letter of settlement and now local 175 and
the employer are protected from any legal action.

I told him what he had signed off on for a few bucks
he signed away all of his rites to any out side legal
action against his employer and UFCW local 175 Canada.
I am sorry but I cannot talk about his document of
settlement just to say he was rail roaded after 7years
of employment.The realy sad part is he was on modifide
duty when this went down.His house will be on the repo
list in the next 30 days no income.

He and I would like to try and find out how many
fellow members of UFCW Canada Local 175 have been
ignored on the job to a point where you may never
be employable again.I would like to hear from anyone
in around Hamilton to Toronto or where ever.Why?
Well though I respect Labour Day and it's day of
entertainments which are enjoyed by all walks of life
and proudfully so, but one thing my friend and I are
not too keen on this Labour Day is having UFCW Canada
Local 175 stand up to the mike and brag about how
they have protected their members in the last year
how accidents and injuries are down.

So my friend and I thaught if we could locate the
people this Union failed to protect and come together
on Labour Day morning and do a six hour peacefull
deminstration in front UFCW's Hamilton office on
Parkdale Ave with the media in tow I think this would
be one day we could and would make a our voices be

Location: Toronto 		Sounds like a good idea. Why don't you tell us the details (how interested people can get in touch with you, when, where and what time the protest will take place) and we can post an announcement.

You may also want to contact the local media and tell them about the protest too.
