To avoid pissing E off - relocated from the mondo thread

It sad but true.

Everything that as happen in UFCW Local 135 since Summer 2003
As the approval of the UFCW International, and the travesty that the current leadership inflicted up on the members during the officer election of 2006 was totally condoned by Joseph T. Hansen.

Now it is going to get very UGLY! in San Diego.

Elsvis qoute:

Do not piss me off. It's an old rule of mine you might not be aware of.

Question,

Elivs , can you define PISS OFF, since I don't know you and or your relus I think that a clarification of your relus will be apropriate.

One more question,

Assuming that Loonietune made you as you say PISS OFF
what action would you have taking against Loonietunes.

I am not making any implications just wondering simply because I don't know your relus and I am also
a member of Uncharted.ca.

Take care.

Yes, I haven't been this pissed off at forum members since the mfd days of TTE. Where the hell is that guy? I miss him dearly.

It's gonna get uglier in here. Brutally honest Elvis is going to say a few things to Brutally honest Ross. Brutally honest Ross can pass it on to his posting addict buddy LT who was lately talking like he's about to step off the nearest bridge and needed Mondo Condo to host his last words. That thread is fucked up enough without a California blaze of glory twist.

Ross, you need to understand something!... Nobody understands a damn thing you're saying.

Don't give me this immigrant crap. Unschooled and shit. If you actually cared and thought about what you're writing before you posted 40 times a day, you might come up with one post that people actually pay attention to. Maybe you could use a Microsoft Word spell-checker... try it. See all those underlined red and green words? It means that the word is spelled wrong or that the sentence can be improved.

You think I'm nit-picking? These are a couple quotes about you two from some email exchanges (and I picked the nice ones)...

That ufcw2 thread is a lost cause. Some good posts buried in a mountain of filler... which I doubt anyone pays much attention to anymore. At least they stick to their playpen.

My hope is that Pearson reels them in privately at some point.

Or maybe we could invite them to email us instead? My inbox is only catching about 300 spams a day. We could double the count!
-
Well, they're not shy about contributing! Very Happy I have to admit that even though I know little about the ufcw issues, (other than what I've learned from you guys), that I normally skip over their posts unless somebody refers to one of their quotes! Does that make me a bad person? I just find they say a lot of the same thing...over and over and over again!

This is the common impression that your readers have. LT was impressed with 100000 hits in the UFCW thread??? There's over 1000 posts!! 85 pages or something!! I've clicked in at least 500 times to read your back and forth rambling. How many times have the two of you clicked in? There are legitimate hits on that thread from people seeking information, but you and LT lost them long ago. Nobody is going to wade through all that to find the good stuff.

PISSED OFF IS YOU NOT EVEN SPELLING MY NAME RIGHT AND THEN ME NOT KNOWING WHAT THE REST OF THE FUCK YOU ARE SAYING MEANS... AND HAVING TO GOOGLE "RELUS DEFINITION" TO FIND OUT THAT YOU REALLY MEANT "RULES".

snootiness"; "riled no end by his lies"; "roiled by the
delay" [syn: annoyed, irritated, miffed,
nettled, peeved, pissed, riled, roiled,
steamed, stunng]

pissed off - Moby Thesaurus II by Grady Ward, 1.0 :

24 Moby Thesaurus words for "pissed off":
angered, angry, browned-off, choleric, cross, heated, incensed,
indignant, irate, ireful, livid, mad, pissed, riled up, shirty,

What action? Tell both of you to use the internet effectively. Don't ruin your message (or other posted online messages) by shooting yourselves in both feet with stupid 'public' mistakes and way too much yap-yapping.

Ross, we both have the freedom to say what we want here. I'm choosing to do it in this thread where many of the Mondo Condo readers will not see it. But you and LT will. It's meant to push your buttons and not to embarass you. You have the potential to be heard and taken seriously. Work on it.

Take care,

Brutally honest Elvis

Dammit elivis we've had this conversation before; take your meds before you go off on people, not after. Sorry E, couldn't resist.

Let me say this in a little more genteel way ross. Imagine every thread as a conversation. Might be between two people, might be twenty two. Either way, the point is to stay on topic. Imagine if you and your wife were having a serious conversation about the shit going on at local 135 and i walked into your house and started talking about how cool the San Diego Zoo is. It would be rude, both in my eyes and you and your spouses.

As a community, we need try and respect that. Common courtesy is simple, treat others as you would expect to be treated. The grammar and spelling thing has been discussed to death. Some feel it doesn't matter, others believe it to be critical. I'm a big fan of if you are going to do something, do it right, do it well. I'd far rather see quality over quantity.

As far as Lt goes, no one said he should leave. Clearly he added to the community with his historical take on what has happened in CA. Unfortunately the banter between you and him too often read like private messages rather than for the community at large. I could construe that as rude.

The thing that drove me the most nuts was the "going postal" crap. I didn't count, but i suspect there are no less than 20 comments regarding it. My real fear was if somebody did go off and shoot ufcw leaders they would claim they were influenced by Uncharted. You may laugh, but it wouldn't be the first time that has happened.

Finally, i hope both you and Lt take what i am saying as trying to help, not in a personal way. Unlike elvis, i want to be viewed as a caring, sensitive kind of guy.

Ah Bill, doesn't this bring back memories?? Razz You playing good cop to sadistic ol' me! I really do love your eloquence, sir.

Just a backgrounder on this thread for those that are confused. Kelsey locked down the 'exposing UFCW part 2' thread due to some posting issues involving member loonietunes. Within minutes LT posted in at least 6 other unrelated high profile threads (two involving me), which came across as forum spam, and an unfriendly reaction to the lockdown. It was like watching a chicken after his head had been cut off (like that analogy, Bill?).

Anyway, my reaction was subtle and then I ratcheted up a notch with stuff that I think needed to be said. The desired outcome was almost immediate as Ross did contact me privately with a rather nicely written message that I'll respond to later. I believe we understand each other a little more clearly now. Private exchanges can do that. Not everything has to be posted publicly.

My comments to Ross and LT stand... don't bury your own good info with useless posts. Try hard to edit your posts and get better at the spelling. Nobody cares about bad spelling unless it comes across as REALLY LAZY bad spelling. People will almost instantly write you and your message off, no matter how unfair you believe that to be. And sorry Ross, you have the ability to spend a couple minutes reviewing the message before you post it. 75% of the errors shouldn't be there... ever.

See Bill, I've calmed down. One notch up. One notch down. No in-between. Mr. Green

Brother Pearson,

If something that tragic were to ever happen the last reason would be because they are influenced by uncharted. if someone reaches the point that stress overwhelmed them and they committed a terrible act of passion it would be because of the policies of the ufcw and the grocery companies and not any conversation that took place on uncharted or on any other website.

Let me say that without question that no one should ever resort to violence in attempt to resolve a problem. "let me repeat that again"Let me say that without question that no one should ever resort to violence in attempt to resolve a problem.

I believe that the conversation that we were having is worth a while and its unfortunate that some of us on the uncharted family would think that it would be proper to bring the ufcw leadership and the grocery company to task to what this policy are actually doing to people on their every day lives.

Allow me to give a quick statement of facts; early March 2007 a UFCW union member went to pick up his prescription from the Pharmacy the price tag on the medication is $40.59 the member co-payment is $20.00 (brand name medication).
Same union member everything is the same just like in early March, the difference now is that we are in early April 2007 member goes to the Pharmacy picks up the medicine the price tag of the medicine still $40.59 the member co-payment $35.00 dollars.

I received a call from the member on April 9th, he asked me to find out why is there a difference. Why me mainly because he needs to work two jobs to make ends meet ever since the company schedules him only 25 hours a week. I placed calls to the Pharmacy, the Local Union, the Trust Fund and Prescription Solution, one week later and several phone calls no one knows why the co-payment was increased; you understand why the pressure point is getting higher.

The UFCW and the Grocers are playing with people lives. IMO.

The point Brother Pearson is that as this pressure mounts with the lost of medical insurance, pension and other issues, the blame will rest squarely with the union and the company.

Finally, thank you for your kind words and for your understanding.

Take care.
