Why is that when it's fifty degrees Fahrenheit in March, people wear miniskirts, shorts, and t-shirts; but when it’s fifty degrees in October, they wear parkas and snow suits?

I wonder...If there is a liberal conspiracy in our universities as the conservatives claim? According to a Washington Post story, between 72% and 87% of our university's faculty are liberal. So if a university faculty is home to people whose profession is to think, does that mean that thinking leads to liberalism?
