Why the hell did so many unions endorse hillary clinton? She does not have a union agenda--neither did her husband, EVER. Obviously, from the emails that were released, clinton was fucking unions while asking for/taking their support (money/members union dues).

Another major union endorses Bernie. Why did so many unions endorse hillary clinton (?) when she has no union agenda--neither did her husband. Their only agenda was/is MONEY. The emails released prove that!!

Sanders has ALWAYS advocated for universal healthcare. The big LIAR twists this history as she does with most other history.

Bernie Sanders--the higher loyalty. This is heavy.

Anti-Walmart Union Stays Quiet as Hillary Gets Big Donation From Heiress Alice Walton

Union endorsed Clinton, who served on Walmart board from 1986 to 1992

BY: Zach Gorelick / April 13, 2016 4:59 am

The Washington Free Beacon

Excerpt:

A major anti-Walmart union is staying tight-lipped about billionaire Walmart heiress Alice Walton’s six-figure donation to Hillary Clinton.

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union endorsed Clinton in January, less than one month after Walton contributed more than $353,000 to a pro-Hillary fund.

International president of the UFCW Marc Perrone wrote in a statement, “It is our members’ strong belief that Hillary Clinton is not just the strongest presidential candidate, but the right one.”

Hillary Clinton’s Wal-Mart ties breed mistrust among liberals, boost Bernie Sanders
SIGN UP FOR

By Kelly Riddell - The Washington Times - Wednesday, February 17, 2016

Excerpt:

Unlike many other liberals, Mrs. Clinton and her husband have refused to publicly brutalize Wal-Mart over the company’s pay scale and anti-union policies, leaving her open to attacks from Mr. Sanders and his allies, who say it’s proof she can’t be trusted to carry the economic warfare message Democrats need this year.

Alice Walton, the daughter of Sam Walton, the founder of the chain of big box stores, gave Mrs. Clinton’s Democratic National Committee Victory Fund $353,000 in December, a contribution just made public last month. Before that she contributed $25,000 to the Ready for Hillary political action committee.

Labor Groups Are Taking On Walmart And McDonald’s. But Who Will Fund Their Fight?

OUR Walmart rattled the world’s largest retailer with attention-grabbing worker strikes. Now it needs to figure out how to survive without union money.

HuffPost / 6-2-16

Excerpt:

In 2013, Janet Sparks and five co-workers went on strike at a Walmart store in Baker, Louisiana. The group rode in a caravan to Bentonville, Arkansas, taking their grievances to the company’s shareholder meeting. The experience of walking off the job in protest was exhilarating, but also unnerving.

“It’s always a scary thing for a worker to go up against the largest employer in the U.S.,” Sparks, 55, said. “There are co-workers around you who are afraid. But we believed in what we were doing.”

Three years later, Sparks still believes in what she’s doing, even if her path to victory remains unclear. The labor group that orchestrated her strike, OUR Walmart, lost its benefactor last year, when the United Food and Commercial Workers union decided to stop funding the effort. OUR Walmart now faces the same predicament as other non-union groups in the labor movement: How to pay the bills without any dues-paying members.

DNC Caught Accepting Money from Union-Busting Companies in New Leak

Tom Cahill | July 1, 2016

Excerpts:

A new set of documents leaked by hacker Guccifer 2.0 allegedly shows the Democratic National Committee has no qualms about asking for donations from some of the most evil corporations in America — even the corporations whose values are directly in opposition to the Democratic Party’s stated goals.

*******************************************************
On a tab labeled “YesCommits,” meaning donors that said yes to the DNC’s requests for money, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) committed to a $45,000 donation for 2016. Just four slots below, Walmart’s PAC for Responsible Government is shown having donated $15,000 to the Democratic Party in 2015.

Walmart has always been openly anti-union and is known nationwide for forcing employees into captive-audience meetings, in which anti-union propaganda videos are shown to new hires. Nonetheless, at the same time the DNC asked Walmart for money, it also asked for and received a $45,000 donation from the United Food and Commercial Workers union, one of the unions leading and sponsoring protests and strikes at Walmart stores nationwide for the corporation’s opposition to raising wages and displays of open hostility toward unions.

Clinton questioned by FBI as part of email probe

By Dan Berman, CNN

Updated 2:23 PM ET, Sat July 2, 2016

Excerpt:

Washington (CNN) Hillary Clinton met with the FBI for three and a half hours Saturday as part of the investigation into her use of a private email server while leading the State Department, her campaign said.

"Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was secretary," Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. "She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion. Out of respect for the investigative process, she will not comment further on her interview."

Trump’s Vegas Hotel Spent Half A Million Dollars To Stop Maids From Unionizing

And yet the candidate claims to be a friend of regular working people.

07/01/2016 03:58 pm ET

Dave Jamieson
Labor Reporter, The Huffington Post

Excerpt:

The Culinary Workers Union recently organized housekeepers and other service workers at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. The union won the election in December — but not without a fight from hotel owners Trump Ruffin Commercial LLC. That’s a joint venture between the likely GOP nominee and casino magnate Phil Ruffin, himself a major financial backer of Trump’s presidential run.

According to Labor Department disclosure forms reviewed by The Huffington Post, Trump Ruffin shelled out more than half a million dollars last year to a consulting firm that combats union organizing efforts. The money was paid from Trump Ruffin to Cruz & Associates in a series of seven payments between July and December, totaling $560,631.

Nearly $285,000 of that money was paid over the course of two weeks in December, shortly after the hotel held its union election.

Leaked emails show how Democrats screwed Sanders

By Daniel Halper July 22, 2016 | 5:35pm

New York Post

Excerpt:

The suggestion of undercutting Sanders based on religion is included in one of 19,252 hacked emails dumped Friday — just ahead of Democratic convention in Philadelphia — by WikiLeaks. The emails appear to have been stolen by the hacker “Guccifer 2.0.”

In one disturbing email dated May 5, 2016 with the subject line “No s–t,” the chief financial officer of the Democratic National Committee, Brad Marshall, plotted how to try to portray Sanders, who is Jewish, as an atheist

Oh for fuck sake, really! Aside from what's obvious to any reasoned person, that being an Atheist IS NOT synonymous with BAD (anymore than being a christian is synonymous with good and we all know that's true) - this feeble attempt to discredit Hilary is just more food for the gullible (don't blame me if you identify).

The conspiracy/fear crap coming out of the USA - from all sides - is beyond stupid. No fucking wonder it's been so easy for the Drumpf to suck up a substantial following.

The attack on HRC's character is pure utter unwarranted bullshit. And because so many are so easily distracted and have taken their eyes off the prize let me remind y'all that every non vote for Hilary is one less that trump needs.

But hey that's just me, carry on - ensure the white house goes to trump and teach that bitch Hilary the lesson of her life!

Third parties shake up Senate battle

Rising poll numbers for Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are giving major party strategists heartburn.

By Burgess Everett / Politico

07/23/16 07:41 AM EDT

Excerpt:

With Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump making history as the least liked candidates in the modern era — both sport unfavorable ratings topping 50 percent — Johnson and his Green Party counterpart Jill Stein are getting a fresh look from disaffected voters. Whether they draw enough support to swing the general election remains to be seen, but their presence on the ballot could play an outsized and unpredictable role in the undercard: The battle for the Senate.

According to the latest poll data, they're already getting some traction. The latest rolling averages from RealClearPolitics give Johnson about 8 percent and Stein 4 percent nationally, with Johnson also drawing statistically significant support in battle ground states like Florida and Pennsylvania.

UFCW Statement on Election of Donald Trump

November 10, 2016

Washington, D.C. – Marc Perrone, International President of the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), the largest private sector union in America, released the following statement about Donald Trump being elected President of the United States.

“As the newly elected President, Donald Trump has promised to be a president for all Americans. We can only hope this means we’ll be able to leave the divisive and damaging rhetoric of the campaign behind and begin working on real solutions to make life better for all working and middle class Americans. Make no mistake, the nation and the world will be watching.”

It Looks Like Donald Trump Did Really Well With Union Households. That’s A Bad Sign For Unions.

Unions campaigned hard against the nominee, but exit polls suggest he did much better with union households than other Republican candidates have.

11/09/2016 02:27 pm ET |

Excerpt:

As unions of all kinds made clear all year, they viewed Trump as anathema to those causes. Union leadership made their case for why rank-and-file members should vote against Trump. But it looks like a lot of those members were on a different page.

Labor union anger fueled Trump in Midwest

November 9, 2016 @ 4:30 pm

Excerpt:

Union members helped Republican Donald Trump win surprising victories in the industrial Midwest. In Ohio, Trump won a majority of votes from union members, according to exit polling, which also showed added strength for Trump in union households nationally and in other auto-producing states.

The reason, says labor expert Harley Shaiken: “Trump’s message resonated, and Clinton’s did not.”
