More members of congress (from both the house and the senate) should be out there encouraging and speaking truth to power. trump/mcconnell are stealing this supreme court seat, our democracy, and life as we know it.

Whether it be somewhat self serving or not, Bernie says, as a result of the wins in this mid-term election, a progressive can win the presidential election. I believe, as he did in 2016, a progressive could have won in 2016. Instead of playing favorites and 'buddy' party politics and aggrandizing their own, I firmly believe Bernie could have won in 2016, and this whole trump shit storm could have been avoided. What the republicans are doing to the courts is devastating and will have decades long influence. Anyway, the damage is done and there's no rewinding the tape.

Bernie sanders on Meet the Press. Ending the U.S. participation in the saudi war against Yemen (teaming up with republican mike lee is a surprise and it's 85,000 children that have STARVED TO DEATH, climate change, minimum wage--the progressive issues. The saudis are horrific butchers, and always have been (15 of the 9/11 terrorists were saudi and so was bin laden)and beheading and hardcore torture are routine in their country against their own people. trump will sanction Cuba, but allow the saudis to get away with murder. HUH? 7 minutes

Sanders brings the Yemen war to the senate floor. 85,000
children have starved to death. 10,000 new cholera cases weekly--the 100,000 mark was reached months ago. 30% of targets are civilian--schools, hospitals, homes, etc. the saudi's are barbaric, and trump and our military are supporting this savage humanitarian crisis. 16 min. https://www.democraticunderground.com/1017522099 and, as a follow up.... https://www.marketwatch.com/story/in-rebuke-to-trump-senate-votes-to-consider-ending-us-involvement-in-yemen-war-2018-11-28 _________________ one of the others |

Bernie Sanders wants to know why a drug that has been free for years now costs 375,000 dollars a year. No one can afford 375,000 dollars a year. Chances are, anyone needing that drug would be on some kind of government coverage (medicare or medicaid) and the company just expects the government to fork out. He is going after big pharma.
