unionnow: I thought the decertification was a brilliant idea, why not use the billionaire Koch and Walton ("Right to Work") money to scare the shit out of the union leadership? Why not make a deal with the devil to serve useful ends? Ideals are great things: be honest to the liar, trust the thief, spare the murderer. Anyway thanks to you once again! I will see if they in California will take this deal. Just left a message with the Offer and Compromise agent.

It was a bridge too far. I just wanted to get their money and bullshit them.

I did have a pretty big legal firm lined up willing to donate as well as the Unitarians who were willing to help with some seed money for all the right reasons.

We could have done something except for our inablility to rationally discuss the hardest of topics. I threw it out there for that reason and sure enough everyone ran.

You could have talked me out of the idea albeit I had no power to implement anyway. It was just an idea, a shot in the dark.

I call that thinking outside the box of "bullshit".
